Our Complany Values
Each employee's decisions/actions will determine our Company's success or failure. To ensure that we each consistently make good decisions, SRC has developed a list of Company Values. Our Values fairly serve our Company, clients, and employees. We offer Our Values as a living, changing document which we will review annually. We created these Values for the following reasons:
- To act as a compass that assists us in making decisions.
- To provide a predictable measurement by which we can judge our actions. The Company will support employees whose actions/decisions are consistent with our Values. The Company will also hold them accountable when their actions/decisions are inconsistent with our Values.
- To act as a tool to assist all employees in fulfilling the Company's Mission Statement.
- To reinforce the truism that "what we think affects what we do, and it is what we do that determines our success." The Company hopes its Values will affect each of our thinking.
- To remind us to strive for continuous improvement.
Values:
- Ethical: Our conduct is exemplified by honesty and integrity. This applies in all relationships (business and personal), internally and externally.
- Respectful: We will communicate/interact with fellow employees, vendors, opposing counsel, and clients as we would want them to communicate/interact with us.
- Teamwork: We are players on a single team. We must work in unity to achieve our Company's Mission. We should develop and maintain strong internal business relationships through open and constructive communication. We are expected to be part of the solution, not part of the problem.
- Commitment/Dedication: We demonstrate commitment and dedication by doing our best and going the extra mile to get the job done. All employees have the responsibility to live up to the commitments we make in a timely manner, and to make every effort to present useful and accurate information in a professional way.
- Proactive/Empowerment: Our behavior and actions should reflect a commitment to timeliness and a sense or urgency - both in dealing with clients and other employees. This approach optimizes mutual efficiency and ensures that we make the most of our opportunities. We should also make decisions and proactively develop strategies designed to achieve the Company's Mission.
- Fiscal Responsibility: We can only stay in business - and continue to service our clients - as long as we are profitable. Profitability requires fiscal responsibility. Each employee impacts our Company's profitability and growth. We all have a shared responsibility to develop strategies, capitalize on opportunities, and utilize our resources wisely and efficiently.
- Professional: We shall be professional in all of our business interactions, including our attire, appearance, conduct, communications, and interactions.
- Positive Environment: We are committed to maintaining an environment that breeds success. We believe in an atmosphere that encourages unity, innovation, and freedom to create. We celebrate, reward, and recognize one another when goals are met. We all must do our part to contribute to an enthusiastic, collegial, vibrant, and productive environment.
- Strive to Exceed Expectations: All of us have the independent obligation to strive to exceed our clients' expectations. Our clients' positive perspective of their relationship with us is the key to our success. Every client interaction has a definite impact on the success or failure of our commitment. Therefore, each employee has total authority, and with it the obligation, to make every effort to satisfy our clients while operating within our Values.
- Leadership & Management: Our managers' responsibility is to create an environment that promotes a company-wide commitment to our Values, Mission, Vital Factors, and Goals. Effective leadership requires managers to exemplify the behavior that promotes teamwork, motivates productivity, and encourages personal development. Additionally, management provides guidance, consistent support, rewards, and appropriate accountability which are all essential for our success.
