PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Adam J. Soibelman, Principal, joined the firm in 1996. He has been publicly recognized as a "Southern California Super Lawyer" by his peers in Los Angeles Magazine, Law & Politics Media, Inc., and Super Lawyer publications for the years 2005 through 2011. He is an experienced and skilled litigator and negotiator.
Mr. Soibelman serves as outside general counsel for small, medium, and large corporations with a statewide and national presence. He assists these clients with litigation and transactional matters, including contract, employment, lease, and real estate transactions. Mr. Soibelman also represents real estate developers, general contractors, subcontractors and product manufacturers in litigation arising out of construction contract disputes, mechanic’s liens, construction defects and toxic mold. Mr. Soibelman has litigated construction claims with combined values well in excess of \$100,000,000. He also represents medical corporations, diverse business entities, landowners and entrepreneurs in entity formation, litigation and transactional matters. Mr. Soibelman is also frequently appointed by insurance companies to represent their insureds in litigation arising from premises liability, commercial vehicular accidents, construction site accidents and construction defects.
Mr. Soibelman prides himself on obtaining excellent and expeditious results based on well thought-out and cost effective litigation or litigation-avoidance strategies.
Mr. Soibelman is admitted to practice before all state courts in California: the Central and Southern Districts of the U.S. District Court, California; the U.S. Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the U.S. Supreme Court.

- Successfully represented health care practitioner in dispute over alleged misappropriation of patient files, breach of contract, and alleged unfair business practices.
- Defended various restaurateurs in ADA claims.
- Successfully defended product manufacturers against product defect claims resulting in property damage and personal injuries.
- Represented multiple business clients in lease negotiations and lease preparation.
- Represented business clients in real estate acquisition and disposition transactions across the nation, including transaction involving Revenue and Tax Code section 1031 exchanges.
- Successfully defended business clients against claims of wrongful termination based on gender and race discrimination in state courts and with administrative agencies in various states.
- Secured significant settlements in wrongful death, wrongful termination and various personal injuries matters.
- Secured defense verdict for a commercial trucking company and truck driver in personal injury lawsuit against claims of negligence and damages in excess of \$500,000.

Mr. Soibelman is a Southern California native. He is an avid sports fan and enjoys playing fast-pitch softball, racquetball, golf and fishing. He lives in Woodland Hills with his wife, son, and daughter.
